Introducing the Merillon Sharks Travel Program

 

  Hello Baseball Fans, Players and Parents

 Merillon AA is proud to announce a new travel program beginning this summer called the Merillon Sharks. This travel program will be divided into 2 divisions (Rookie League 8 through 12) and (Big League 13 through 18). The program will begin immediately following the spring season and conclude sometime in early August. Teams and selected players will be eligible for both summer and fall league travel.

  Rookie League

We plan on having one A level team in each age group (8 through 12) and at least 2 B level teams for a total of 6 teams. Anyone who wishes to play must tryout. There will be no more summer  intramural league for ages 8 through 12. If you want to play summer you must tryout to be placed on a team. Tryouts will take place on DATE TBD (8 &10 year olds 4:45PM and 11&12 year olds 6:15PM)

DATE TBD will be the rain date. All Merillon spring players are eligible.

  Note: The A level 11 & 12 year old teams will play 75' bases which is a transition level and help prepare players for Junior HS and HS baseball.

 Ages 5 through 7 will remain the same and look for summer intramural sign up through our regular Merillon AA Little League program sometime in May 2011.

  Big League (13 through 18) High School ages

Tryouts will take place on DATE TBD and DATE TBD for (Fall 2012 and Summer 2012). The fall 2012 season will begin after Labor Day and the Summer 2012 season begins around Memorial Day Weekend 2012 after the conclusion of the HS season. We are hoping to field an A level and B level team for ages 13 & 14. Look for additional information to follow.

Note: Teams have already been selected in this age group (13 Through 18) for this upcoming summer.
