1. Part of the responsibilities of being a Merillon Team Manager is that each team manager shall submit a paragraph summary of their games for the week ending on Sunday, win, lose or tie.
(You may pass this responsibility on to a team parent or coach, but ultimately you as Manager are responsible to see that they are submitted on time.)
2. Please put a title to your summary. (Example “Pace Pharmacy Blue Jays Vs. New Hyde Park Funeral Home Astros”) All articles MUST contain Team Sponsors Name
3. Try to include as many players’ names as possible. Since kids like to see their name in print please make sure during the course of the season to include all the players names at one point or another, don’t limit entering players names to only your teams superstars.
4. Scores may be listed but please use discretion if the game happens to be one sided.
5. All summaries must be emailed to Alan Cooper at
NO LATER THAN 7:00PM SATURDAY EVENING
6. Write-ups received after 7:00pm will appear in the following weeks Illustrated. (It only takes about 10 minutes to write an article so please get them in as soon as possible)
7. If you can not email them, please contact Alan Cooper at (516) 978-7469 before the start of the season for alternate means.
8. Remember the main purpose of these articles is the sponsors’ names and our kids.
